Get to know us

How it all started

Brookline Cars Ltd was founded in 1965 by Elsie Brook. An entrepreneurial spark was ignited in her when regularly asked for lifts in her Hillman Imp. Although, when asked to go further than the Warwickshire border, her car would mysteriously be "at the garage!"


Her husband Frank, sons Patrick and Chris, and Patrick's son Simon, continued to grow the business into the fleet we are today. Still very much a family-run business, owned by the third generation of the Brook family. Not only serving Warwickshire, but the whole Midlands region and nationwide.

Since 2014 we have operated from our very own large bespoke unit located in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. We have onsite vehicle maintenance, vehicle wash bays, valet and storage facilities.

 

Our executive cars and coaches are finished in our branded silver livery and to our usual high standard. All our cars and most of our coaches are leather interior.

About Brookline

Located in the Heart of England, we are in the best position for access to all major UK transport routes. With quality and reliability our key to success, we are proud to have served our customers for nearly 60 years. We operate airport transfers to all UK airports - London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, London Luton, Birmingham International, East Midlands Airport and Manchester Airport are all regular destinations for us. We also provide a meet-and-greet service for your return journeys, monitoring your inbound flight, giving you peace-of-mind whilst on vacation or work trip.


Regardless of the size of group, with our cars and coaches we provide corporate travel for many higher educational institutions, local council transport services, aircraft and vehicle manufacturing companies, inbound foreign tour groups and many local SME's.

Mark

Having joined Brookline in 2001 as a driver, Mark first moved into management as Company Secretary before eventually becoming Director in 2023. From bogs to boardroom, now he has to do all the things no one else wants to do.

Harold

Having been with Brookline for over 30 years, our Oracle Harold is the reason we no longer have a microwave. He's forgotten more about eggs that the rest of us could ever hope to know.

Joe
Joe

Joe is keeping the maternity chair warm whilst Natalie is away. He's not pregnant though, it's just cake. On top of reservations and scheduling, he also manages our website and marketing.

Little Jack

 Little Jack started at Brookline 3 years ago when he was 5 and looks after our depot and our fleet. We recently gave him his own Little Tikes Cosy Coupe when he became one of our private hire drivers.

Natalie
Natalie

Natalie usually looks after reservations and scheduling. She is currently on maternity leave but will be back in April 2025 and strangely rejected our suggestion to name her new baby "Brookie".

Bella lives with her owner Diane near the Brookline Depot and comes to visit us for strokes and fuss every day without fail. She even has her own chair throne!
